This course is held in tandem with WLC400: WLC Major Capstone. This course prepares us for our final capstone presentations and essays especially by guiding us through complex Japanese grammar forms and conjugation. We often would refer to capstone projects from alumni and take portions of their project to break down the structure and grammar they used so that we could also use these advanced essay words in our own projects. This course was surprisingly heavy on the translation aspect of alumni's capstones, but it did show what words are frequently used and how a proper essay should be stylized. There were two main presentations in this course, one being the first portion of our Japanese capstone which we presented without a script, and the second presentation being similar, but with more content including our literature review and portions of our data analysis. With this, we were prepared for our final capstone presentation, where we did our course evaluation in front of our professors utilizing our Japanese slides, Japanese speech, and answered Q&A in Japanese.
